There are two ways to license AD Self-Service Suite: by the domain, and by the members of an Active Directory group. In the License Configuration screen that appears, click on each of the AD Self-Service Suite modules you are licensed for and click Add Domain.ġ0. On the AD Self-Service Administration web page that appears, under the Configuration Tasks pane, click on the Global Settings tab.ĩ. Click on the AD Self-Service Admin link that appears.Ĩ. Open AD Self-Service Configuration from the Start Menu and click on the Administration Console tab on the left hand side. In the Application Pools pane, right click the ADSelfService application pool and click Start.ħ. In the Connections pane on the left hand side, expand the Server node and click on Application Pools. Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. Copy License.xml from the e-mail sent to you by support and transfer it to the AD Self-Service Suite IIS server under the following directory:Ħ.
X:\Program Files\The Dot Net Factory\AD SelfService Suite\SettingsNew\licenseHelper.xmlĥ. Delete the License.xml and licenseHelper.xml files located in this directory. Replace X:\ with the drive letter where AD Self-Service Suite is installed.ģ. NOTE: If you have installed AD Self-Service Suite on a 64-bit operating system, replace any instance of X:\Program Files\The Dot Net Factory\AD SelfService Suite\Settings In the Application Pools pane, right click the ADSelfService application pool and click Stop.Ģ. Updating the AD Self-Service Suite 3.5 - 3.7 license file:ġ. Once the AD Self-Service Suite Admin has loaded, under the About AD Self-Service section on the right hand side, confirm the Version number equals or is between 3.5.0.0 and 3.7.0.1.
